Just kidding, all turned out well, but I am still confused. I got pulled over yesterday by my local PD. I saw him coming up in a hurry so at least I got both windows down (tinted). He does the standard license, registration, proof of insurance. Looks at them for a bit and said to me "what kind of exhaust is that"? Not thinking and not trying to be a wise ass I said "well it made by Specialty Z". He said OK and it'll be just a minuet and goes back to his car. He comes back in about a minuet and ask the famous "do you know why I pulled you over? of course I say "No". This is what he tells me " well your exhaust is illegal, but its not worth witting up, have a nice day thank you". So I didn't want to say why is it illegal I just left it at that, figured I got over on this one. I think he was talking about it being loud, and it is a bit but I think it would pass a sound test. So I might be getting some new mid pipes with resonators in them.
